Over the past ten years, several countries have developed new legal frameworks, including the United States with the 'Benefit Corporation', France with the 'Entreprise à mission' and Italy with the 'Societa Benefit'. The time has come for Switzerland to implement a clear legal framework to enable SMEs to comply with societal, environmental and governance requirements.
